The Judges have spoken!

Miniature experts, podcaster Becky Gannon (Mad about Miniatures) and author/museum curator Julie Steiner, flew in to evaluate nearly 90 storefronts and award ironically enormous ribbons and bigger cash prizes for the sensational small scenes. This exhibition features tiny embroideries by Ray Materson. Incarcerated as a young man, Materson requested a sewing needle. Using fabric swatches torn from bedsheets and colored threads painstakingly extracted from knitted socks, he taught himself how to create miniature artworks depicting life outside of prison.
